Michael Keaton is an American actor, producer and director who is most well-known for his role in the film 'Birdman. Being a multi-faceted actor, he can perform comedy and dramatic roles. He's also played a few romantic characters and played in numerous action films in his career. He began to take an interest in performing and acting while at the age of teen and tried his luck at stand-up comedy while an adult. While his stand-up comedy wasn't a success, it did in the development of his acting. Because he could not to succeed as the actor of his dreams, he chose to be a TV cameraman. It was at this station was the first time he realized that he truly wanted to appear on camera. Through a handful of episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he was able to get the role on TV. The natural talents of the actor helped him become a household name on TV. His comedic performances brought him fame and he began an acting career who had high hopes. His fame grew for his portrayal of the famous Batman as Tim Burton's Batman. In time the actor's acting abilities developed and he was able to look into directing and producing. The role he played in the 2014 film Birdman was nominated for numerous nominations and accolades.
